Hopefully the children have all gone to bed and there can be serious discussion of this.
The rules on sustainability and registration of supply will have quite a number of implications. It may also deter some of those I have had heresay of.
There have already been bad experiences with the quality of wood pellets. On a recent course one attendee was relating how he was in dispute with a supplier as they had contained enough cement to completely choke the burner. Trying to chip it off and clean up was no joke. Some parts had to be replaced. Excess moisture content can also be an issue.
Boiler manufacturers will also void warranties if pellets do not comply to specified standards.
As in all markets there are entrants whose intentions and methods are less than honourable.
