Discuss Boiler timer doing my head in in the The Welcome Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Just confused with the roomstat ...horstman hrt2...

Which wire is what because all the diagrams say N 1 2..

I dont know which is what I just have red.. blue and yellow wires...

Hi mark,
You need to ascertain what the red blue and yellow wires do at the wiring centre first.
Set up is probably one will be permanent live, another with be neutral and the other will be switched live.
It doesn't matter which colour is used as long as they are sleeved for identification.
Once you've got that it's plain sailing.
Without more info or photos it's pretty imposible to tell you which is which, but it's pretty easy to find out with basic testing.

Just like to update this thread ..as I've been working all week and studying the wireing on an evening..i got my head around it ..had another go this morning and its all sorted out now..im still alive ..everything working as it should ....thanks everyone
