Another quiet day today so a bit of retail therapy was in order - this time on a bootlace ferrule crimper. Here he is with his first 6mm crimp. I'm hoping he'll settle into the toolbox in the next few days 'cause he seems a bit stroppy tonight. Maybe it's just me ...

that ferrule looks like you done it with your granny's false gnashers.
 
I have to agree with Tel here, looks like you destroyed that crimp, is it me or are you putting ferrules on standard stranded cable as oppose to fine wire/stranded ?.. may explain the result.
 
if it won't go on with a hammer, it's the wrong size. end of. :mad:
