Discuss Business networking events?? in the Business Related area at ElectriciansForums.net

My m8 is member of a smallish local network which appears to be guys, wummin get together once a month n discuss buisness stuff like tax insurances ect ect seems to be informative and they recomend each other if they are asked dont know about cost i think they just meet in a boozer n use a corner Check your local buissness gateway n see if they have anything

I used to do a breakfast club in my local area. Cost £10/wk with breakfast included. Got 3 small jobs out of it which covered this cost but no profit. It used to finish at 9 in the morning so if I wasn't working local I could loose half a day. For me it wasn't worth it but others may find it works for them. I know the BMI charge bout £500 per year plus £10/week and you have to refer buisness otherwise they kick you out with no refund.

My gym has one. It really helps to meet new people if you already have something in common (i.e. going to the gym).

But it has been fairly rewarding.

Business networking is becoming the craze in marketing Now.It really helps to meet new people if you already have something in common. This effectively takes the stress out of what can be a daunting experience.

First of all, I don’t exactly get the idea of the previous two posts. And yes, I’ve been to some business networking events. I tend to consider they get boring, but they also have advantages like meeting new people and hearing news.

went to a bni as a visitor and yeash it is £500 plus vat per year...there were a few people who hinted that they might be able to put some work my way but obviously give nowt away till you join up
Sparky 198 is right you are expected to give at least some concrete leads to another member at least once a week
There seemed to be a few little clicks among the members as well
If anyone wants any more details pm me and i will let you know what the meetings are like
