altrnatively, look on ebay. as long as it's a megger with cal. cert. can't go wrong.

Sorry Tel, had to disagree wearing my Test-Meter hat.

Test-Meter hat off, eBay is a good place to start if you're on a budget. But as Tel says, make sure you're buying from a high rated seller and choose an instrument with a valid calibration certificate - don't be shy asking for a picture of it before you bid.

eBay aside, we try to remain impartial as far as manufacturer's are concerned. We now have 3 ex-sparks in house with a wealth of different electrical testing experience, all favouring different manufacturer's testers. If you need some help (even if you do end up buying on the bay), give us a shout as it's easy to become confused with the amount of models available.

Hi All,

I am going to invest in another Tester MFT for my enlarging company, I believe there is a contact on here from ISSWWW, who can offer a discount, can anyone help with this
Thanks in advance

Edit - sorry forgot to mention - ISSWWW are sponsors of A.Nother sparks' forum, Darren. If you do happen to make contact with them and they quote you, give us a shout too and I'll see what we can do to help further.

I had several Meggers from Ebay. Recent ones LRCD220 and RCD320, both got intermittent faults and packed in. Gave up and ordered a Martindale ET4000 from test meter. Had some other Meggers from Ebay which were brand new and they were fine.
