Hello everyone. I'm fixing a motorcycle wires. I found that there is a deteriorated part and I need to replace it, the problem is that I do not know what it's called and where they sell it. Does anyone know his name? Where can I buy it online?

Cable protector name question Part - EletriciansForums.net

Regards!

is the damaged part just a mounting for the cable harness, and what diameter is it ( internal)?

Thank.
Yes, the part is misshapen. The approximate diameter 1.2 inch (3 cm). It is not a connector, it is a rubber that covers the cable to protect the friction with the motorcycle chassis.

Best way would be to get one from a second-hand bike spares dealer. What bike is it out of interest?

Tel's idea sounds good. Possibly with a bit of split rubber tubing over first to give it more bulk.

yamaha? wet string will do. :D
