Can anyone recommend a decent step/cone drill/kit?

Title says it all, preferably up to 32mm or more

It’s difficult to find them higher than 30mm but have a look on amazon I’ve had a set from there that went above 32 been good all have the CE mark (Chinese Export) on but quite good

To make these last longer and stop them burning up when using on metal always use some form of lubricant, even WD40 makes the world of difference as decent ones aren't cheap.

Also the length of it is better than your usual offering which is good when using 90 degree chuck on top of DB for entry holes other than knock outs.

Am tech I’ve found to be vary good for the money, also fit into your impact gun for ease of use.

That reminds me I need to get another set, previous set has been well and truly used
