Can oven with 13a socket, be connected to 45 cooker supply

Can an oven which runs of a 13a socket, be connected to a cooker supply i.e 32/45amp. Does the supply need to be fused down to protect the cooker cable.

If the cable from the cooker is only 1.5mm2 then you are a bit over the CCC for the cable using 32A, however as it is a fixed appliance and if the cable is run so it is unlikely to get damaged and is less than 3m then you can do this.
If you can provide fusing down then this is best.

If you have a standard break out box just change it to a single socket. Job done!

you could swop the 45amp switch for a switch and socket outlet plate, assuming its a double box behind the existing switch.
