Is there an after photo? You really need to see some of the stuff that I had to sort out, this one was tame on a security switch/cabling upgrade in a company the dealt heavily with on line payments.

They look simple enough to terminate, as with any termination cable preparation is the key.EZ ends make it a lot easier,
All too common poor work like that. These are pictures from one of the UKs leading ISPs:You really need to see some of the stuff that I had to sort out, this one was tame on a security switch/cabling upgrade in a company the dealt heavily with on line payments.

As in the terminations or the colour of the lead?Is there a proper colour code when it comes to patch leads, does it mean anything?

A 40 year old frame with a load of cables at the bottom, try tracking those out an re-Kroning them......I do like a good Krone frame not to mention the odd cheeky DDF frame full of type 43s and U links...
Not really its up to the person in charge to decide what the colour is for the patch lead for data or comms, after a while it gets forgotten about and the site bod will just use what's available then is goes boobies up.Colour of the lead.
Is there a standard colour for PoE etc
Still happens now, not many of us who can still do it.A 40 year old frame with a load of cables at the bottom, try tracking those out an re-Kroning them......
And electricians think they have a hard life........ nothing worse than dealing with a dodgy Krone frame earning decent money the bonus being the subsidised restaurant and the office errrr can't get banned, full of various fit not fit fat slim non slim obese transgendered transexual lesbian non lesbian rug munchers oh I nearly forgot straight people but then again the disabled crooked people may be offended.........Still happens now, not many of us who can still do it.
A Peak tester won't interrogate the switch too see what port the cable is coming from, does it show if a fault is on the run and the distance from the tester the fault is at?Some nice tools there, I use a Peak tester with a load of the numbered terminators for quick testing. We hire in a proper analyser if the client requires certificates for the installation as the £40,000 price tag is a bit much for the small amount we do.
