Hi, looking for a bit of help from the CCTV guys. My father in law has just moved to Spain but is keeping his house here. He is looking for a decent quality camera set up that he can log in to from his iPad. He's looking for something with clear video at night. Any recommendations? Thanks

I used various styles of Hikvisions with a Synology NAS at my house.
Works well but remember if you want to remote view at 1080p you will need a very fast upload connection.

Fixed is cheaper so get 1 4mm and have a play before buying more. Then you can estimate your lens size.
POE is the way to go, only 1 cat 5 to each cam.
AVOID wireless.
