Many thanks for your replies but if I use any of those will the niceic accept them when purchasing e certs and submitting them?

There's nothing in the Regs or the "Rules of enrolment" (I'm sure the DI rules are the same) to say you can't....
The NIC have never queried certs we've given them we use software and ALWAYS use the JOB NUMBER as reference.

None of this buying cert numbers rubbish, we feel using the job number gives better service as it's more easily traceable from initial telephone call to completion. All the paper work will have the same reference!
Also if a customer has a question it can often be dealt with by the receptionist answering the phone as ..again.. the numbers are all the same.

IMO hold off purchasing just now till all the firms clear themselfs of "wee bugs" with the new ammendments we use Amteck and its great BUT there are a couple of set up things like it needs 2gb ram or preferably higher
