i ve got my NICEIC inspection at the end of the month and just wondered if using a cheap plug-in RCD unit is ok for testing if my instrument is accurate.:cool:

Anytime i have had the NIC out i have had to use a check box to prove accuracy of test instruments.

Surely to prove that your test instrument is accurate you should have been checking it since your last assessment...................................:confused:
 
In that case, you should label the plug-in rcd unit for the pupose for which you intend to use it - remember that you
