Is there a regulation that states only to use bs7671 cable? I have come across alot of Chinese branded cable lately on my inspection and testing and wondering what to do about it? Tia.

If tested and in compliance - time may be the only test of quality / consistency !

What is the BS standard for UK cables (I can Google), as everyone seems to be referring to it.

I only say as I think the OP has a sensible question, which some only appear to want score points.

BASEC surly plus a BS number I believe
I don’t think that Chinese cable would be good for our installs or our economy.
I’ve used Turkish cable from TLC and it was a pleasure to work with but still not good for our economy.
Prysmium take your cable out of the stupid box dispensers or at least try to run some cable out yourself before selling it to the people who need it to be efficient - my rant over!
