Hi,

Can anyone shed definitive light on the situation with regards to the new C&G 2394 and 2395 qualifications?

Is the 2394 a direct replacement for the 2392?

Is the 2395 a direct replacement for the 2391?

Thanks in advance!

No.
As I understand it, the 2394 is the 'Initial Verification of Electrical Installations', and the 2395 is the 'Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations'.
The 2394 plus the 2395, will equal the 2391.

Definitive answer.

City and guilds 2391-10 Qualification in the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
City and guilds 2394 Qualification in Initial verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
City and guilds 2395 Qualification in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Reporting of Electrical Installations

2394 and 2395 together replace 2391-10. The old 2391-10 has been split in half.

2391-20 has been replaced with the 2396.

Hope this clears the air.

Cheers.............Howard

You must be getting fed up now H, if you like, I could make one of your replies a sticky thread to save on the repeat posting for you???

Don't forget the 2392, which I believe is still available until December and the soon to be anounced 2397.
I believe that there's also a 2393 somewhere, something to do with Part P?
