Hi All

Writing up an EICR I've been doing recently, wanted to get fellow opinions on coding no identification of conductors throughout, everything's ran in SY cable with no sleeving, so both conductors are black?

Thanks, the thread mainly cover the use and coding around the braiding being earthed, instead of the identication of the conductors themselves. Guessing C3 as the CPC has been not been used as a live conductor and non competent people should really be working on them without identifying which conductor is being used as neutral or live.

I C3 this type of thing with YY SY cables, where the live, neutral and cpc conductors are not identified.
The cores are numbered but identification is still required.
