Hi Everyone

We have been asked to install suitable lighting in a commercial kitchen, the lights are to be mounted under a Stainless steel extractor canopy to light the stove areas so will be subject to heat and cooking steam & vapour.

Has anyone got experience of this and can suggest a suitable make or supplier of such lighting please?

Thank you

worst place for lighting to operate as
1 tight getting maintenance

2 grease ect

3 heat isnt so much of an issue as most will go up the extractor
4 ingress from top fixings due to steam condensating on the stainless steel

Id suggest looking at "Designplan" fittings ( expensive BUT quality)they make utility fittings for subways ect I wouldnt go for something like Thorn Aquatron due to the grease and heat causing the clips to break and warping the plastic base
Good luck

Indeed they have
