Discuss condition report socket not working in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

You could of put an FI next to 'condition of accessories' etc on the tick sheet , but as you have checked the back of the socket for power then , you already know that the socket itself is not at fault, so it is an observation that is not on the tick sheet so just write it on the observation page.
 
If this was on any part of a ring I would take it off for a look. I assume the ring is intact and this isn't a spur.
