Added a socket from a lounge into a conservatory about a month ago. Just had a phonecall from customer, demanding a Part P certificate. His solicitor is chasing this certificate and its slowing down the sale of his home. I said tell your solicitor to phone me as you have your minor works certificate and thats all you need. "Well my next door neighbour had electrical work done and she recieved a certificate through the post" lol...unbelievable.
 
perhaps next door had notifiable work done.
