Went to see a refurbishment project today and noticed this:

Nice.

Better than the tools that I'm working with. Went to second fix an UFH system this afternoon and they've left no room where the cables come out the wall for the wiring centre. It's almost as they done it on purpose as there was plenty of room for their pipes...needless to say I went full cry baby mode and refused to connect as it meant trunking and extending cables. The plumbers now have to rejig pipe work to accommodate the control wiring...sparky 1-plumbers 0 :D

It's probably been written onto the toilet seat in blue sharpie marker so will be a permanent addition to the toilet

I was on a job recently where the plumber had removed the toilet in the bathroom so the tile guy could tile the wall. He covered the soil pipe with a plastic bag to prevent any stench. The plumber rested the toilet up against the adjacent wall temporarily obviously not plumbed in and along came the unaware carpet fitter who took a dump in it....

omg! BEEN THERE! Actually (looks around to check coast is clear...) mother in law got invited to a launch of a boat...needed a pee, went below, found WC...ah! relief...until she saw dark stain creeping from under the pedestal...
placed in position, not plumbed in...
ach well, it all ended up in the bilges anyway! No harm done...
