I have been trying to contact the JIB for ages now and failing. I have now been on hold for over 6 hours (over 4 days). This morning I've been on hold for an hour an a half. Sometimes it does ring but then they cut me off straight away. Other times it says that they are not accepting calls. I've tried emailing. They say wait 14 days for a reply via email, which I done, and I'm still waiting. The problem is that I am trying to get a new card but it's not straight forward as I'm going through the mature assessment route so the web site isn't set up for this.

Does anyone have any direct dial numbers or contacts there? I am getting desperate. There is no way you contact them. Thanks for any help!

Change the last digit in the phone number to 1.
Unless they have updated their phone system, it should get you through to a live person.
You can then ask them to get someone to call you back.

Try 03333 218 230, leave it till about 4 o'clock and the queue may not be so long. I have been cut off twice on this number after a ten minute wait but can normally get to speak to someone.

Tried the number spinlondon gave but that didn't work. I tried another number, 01322 661600, and then chose option 0 for switchboard. It was busy for a while and then I got through. I had a contact name there which helped so I got put through. It wasn't the right person but they promised to get it to the right person who will get back to me. Fingers crossed eh!!!! They are a nightmare to get hold though. If I hadn't had a name I'm not sure where I'd be.
