cover plate for downlights

hello i want to remove some down lights from a room

before i remove the fittings and reskim ceiling etc

i was hoping to take out the bulbs and find some blanking plates to fill the holes

do these exist as i cant find them ?

i suppose the market for this product is pretty small !

get some scrap plasterboard. cut discs out same size as the holes, fit a bit of lath above the hole, screwed up through the board either side of the hole, then screw your discs to the lath.

hope not. probably OP is going to divert the feed to whatever new light he's fitting.
