DALI Control systems - Do i need different drivers?

I have a project in a hotel that has a DALI control system

We are supplying LED downlights that are dimmable on the DALI protocol but they also want other lighting ground lights and wall lights that do not need to be dimmed.

Question is will they still work on the standard LED drivers or do these need to be DALI as well even if they are not being dimmed?

So do you want the DALI system to switch the other lights together with the LED downlights or can they be completely separate?
Either way you can get a DALI switching unit to switch whatever kind of load you want, it just makes things a bit more complicated.

It will be separate downlights in the hotel interior areas, but they also want the ground lights and floodlights on the DALI system but just standard switching, so totally separate circuit.

So would you advise DALI drivers on the exterior non dimmable lighting as well?

Personally I find DALI overly complicated, but if that's what they want then that's what will need to be installed.
