Hi

I have a disabled toilet in an office block to do having not ever done one before could you please tell me of any special requirements please

I have looked through my 7671 and I can't actually find anything on them.

Do I have to fit a pull alarm?

Do I have to fit emergency lighting?

What is the height of the light switch

Many Thanks

Pull alarm...yes
Em lighting....I believe so
Height of sw....Why not a pull switch
There are printable diagrams of what is required on tinternet mate I shall try to locate 1 for you

pull alarm, yes. em lighting, preferrable. light switch at 1200mm from finished floor level , unless it's a pull cord which would look stupid on the wall.:nonod:

Just looking at Approved Document M and it says switches with large push pads should be used instead of pull switches so that's my fireworks pee'd on:)
Just have a google on disabled toilet requirements mate, lots of interesting bed time reading there for you

rottweilers have large pads. don't often see them in disabled toilets though. they prefer lampposts
