Morning,

I'm filling in the DNO application form (Northern Power Grid) and got to the final pages where it is asking for a site layout plan. Has anyone else provided site layout plans? If so have you used a website like ordinance survey or is there free versions out there??

No, they ask for for a site plan to a scale of 1:500 or 1:1250, with site boundary marked on, position of incomer and position of proposed PV.

I normally draw them on in Biro then use a highlighter. I also send a googlemap just for ease

Last time I did some of these, most were a google maps satellite view with a badly photoshopped blue rectangle indicating the array, a green dot indicating the incomer/point of interconnection and a red line denoting the property boundary. It was all I had at the time but it seemed to appease the DNO gods and they never requested anything else.

If it needs to be a professional looking site plan, then go to the planning portal and there are links to at least 3 websites that you can get plans from (at a cost)

I can only think it is a big G59 application perhaps on a new site, as the OP talks about the 'final pages'
