They're still making ceiling joists, so why don't folks just put in some more? I'm sure the home owner would pay to get it done right.

Yes, the right bits but done all wrong. Is it a diy effort?

No, was installed by a very large company who operate all over the UK. They have done a number of DB changes and other work at various locations recently and all the work I've seen is to the same poor standard.

Found during appliance testing, this plug had 2 previous tested stickers on it. The client questioned why I was looking in all the plugs as the previous company didn't do that.

I should have posted a clearer pic. The terminal screws must have only just been touching the tiny amount of copper that was squashed through.

I was there doing Underfloor heating existing spur - had a quick look in board - no idea how recent this install was or who did it.

informed client (heating engineer) guarantee nothings been done by building owners.

Plus only 3 minutes extra to fit 20mm rubber open grommets, and probably no extra time to dress and set the grey phase correctly and not over tighten it so the incomer casing splits.
