I've found one 32A RCBO (double way), but I know you can get single way Steeple RCBO's as I've seen them, but I just cant see them anymore!!

Does anyone know where to find RCBO's that will fit this Consumer Unit? I need x3 32A and x1 6A...

I have spent quite a while looking!

Ebay has the x1 (double) 32A RCBO. Dont think Denhams do them anymore, will ring tomorrow... anyone?

I know it's not good practise and I have not had to do it yet, but do other RCBO's fit this CU?

That looks a lot like an old GE board with a different badge printed on it.

Yes, have just read that they were GE.

Here is another picture which shows the RCBO's required, and the fact that there are 2 different types and they dont fit well together.. makes it even harder to determine which I need!

Nope, those in the picture are almost certainly Wylex/Crabtree rebrands, not the same as the GE rebrands in your OP

This is getting confusing! So the ones in the second picture say 'Steeple', but are rebrands and wouldn't fit my board in the first picture?

Just checked my Denmans catalogue and they are still available.

Thanks IL, I'll give them a ring tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath.

Do any others fit htis board... crabtree loadstar?

All steeple stuff is a rebrand of another companies product, the old board you have is GE and the newer one pictured looks like Wylex/Crabtree (2 different ranges though) to me (but no guarantee)

The first pic of the old steeple E series was indeed GE, the new steeple stuff doesn't fit these boards, Denmans don't do it anymore anyway although it was a wylex rebrand so wylex stuff fits the newer steeple boards.
I've never seen an RCBO for the old E series though.

Looks like I will have to change the board then.. I shall remember this next time I come across an E series!

Thanks for all the help guys..

Have you called Denmans? The grey RCBOs in your last picture look quite modern.

Yep, called Denmans this morning. They have plenty of Steeple RCBO's as in the second picture, but like the others have said, this is a GE board (rebranded as Steeple) and they will not fit. Denmans said they were unaware of any GE RCBO's

Find a mcb to fit the board and feed a sub board of that if your struggling to get a rcbo

I guess so.. but it's going to look even more messy then and theres not much room anyway, so new board it is. I'd love to just pop the sockets and lights over to the RCD protected side but I'm not going to as that just wouldn't be cricket!

nothing wrong with the old board... get one of existing rcbo out, take it to a place stocking good range of kit, compare it to some others. as long there is a din rail and a bus bar you should find something suitable...

There's not an RCBO in there to take out so I'm afraid that plan falls down somewhat.
