Hi all
Hoping for help if possible!
In our house we suffered a loss of lighting to half of the upstairs of the property. The upstairs lighting and smoke alarm is on one circuit, however the Bathroom, landing and 1x bedroom have lost all lighting, and two other bedrooms have retained lighting.
The lighting in the bathroom (along with the extract fan) had a slight flickering on Friday morning, and we lost the lighting in question at some point later on Monday therefore I can only assume the two are connected.
In terms of the wiring arrangement, I have taken the landing light fitting off (as we were due to replace) and insulated using insulation tape, and the fan is wired via a switched live loop at the fan via a separate switch adjacent to the bathroom lighting switch.
The MCB/RCD did not trip also?
Any ideas?
