That's an awful excuse for buying new tools, but a good one must remember that when "she who must be obeyed" starts harping on about " not more tools Pete" but it's an occupational hazard when you have this addiction, I keep telling her it's disease, but she wont have it.

As long as mine still keeps buying rings and Decleor products from QVC, I can keep buying tools, well its BBQ products at the mo :)

I had an apprentice many years back, he came to me on site one morning and said, "If you know where something is but you cant put your hand on it have you lost it?"......."Well, no I guess not" I replied.
"That's good then" he came back "cos your pliers are at the bottom of the cavity, but I haven't lost them".
He ended up a delivery driver.

Not lost tools related, but tools none the less :)

Just picked up my first 110v transformer and angle grinder... even treated myself to a 110v extension lead, can't wait to try them out on a renovation project I'm starting tomorrow :D

Lost tool related though, I did nearly put my Knipex installation pliers at the bottom of an 8ft cavity... thankfully a Wagobox acted as stunt double for the fall and alerted me to the presence of said cavity... all tools perched on the edge were quickly retrieved :)
