Hey all,
So was due to start my first year of level 3 electrical installing, and literally 10 minutes before my first day got a call saying the course is postponed until further notice as the teacher has quit!
This was at the start of september and now we are in october, spoke to the head of construction and was bluntly told its still going to be weeks at minimum....
So im am now looking for other routes into becoming an electrican, anybody have any advice or ideas or possibly apprenticeships in the east sussex area?

Cheers all
Steve

Who was the course with? Get the impression with the course providers pushing the Electrical Trainee courses that there is a shortage of decent tutors out there.

Didn't realise you could even start on level 3! Damn I have defo taken the long route starting on the City & Guilds level 1 :tearsofjoy:

My advice would be check your local colleges to see if they have any city & guild night courses etc. I know you can start on level 2 in some places.

Problem you have is whether or not the courses are now fully booked but if you don't ring round you will never know.

Good luck mate

Well it would of got me to a level three but the end of the course. Was with Brighton city college and from what I’ve seen they were the only place near me that did the evening courses, so pretty rubbish really
