Watch out for a new dodgy e-mail scam, twice now I have received an enquirey about electrical work - very basic, my availability and that the work is domestic.
We reply asking for more details, including contact details.
We get an answer along the lines of thanks for getting back, I will send you details of the job soon - still no contact details.
Then get a mail saying look at the pdf for details of the work - still without contact details. There is no attachment, just a hyperlink labeled pdf - alarms bells start to sound!
We reply asking for the pdf as an attachment and asking for contact details again, just get an answer saying that they can't release a copy of the pdf and to click on the link to be taken to their secure server - time to back away we think!
The second time we didn't bother going any further then the hyperlink to a pdf

quite often a lot of the dodgy files and scams with iffy links wont cause any harm on android. no guarantee though... but often the the virus/malware is stopped in its tracks as it wont work in android or android will ask for permission to stop any damage. im led to believe ios is similar in that regard...
