I passed my NICEIC inspection 29th of November last year and have just received a letter from them saying that on 28th of Aug my renewal fees are due.

Is this normal? I would have thought that I would pay again in November as then I have used their services for a whole year. I'm going to give them a call later but in the meantime just wondered if this is standard practice?

A months notice to pay up, then another month for your annual inspection visit. So if your time ran out at the end of August, you'd need to pay at the end of July in time to get an Assessor booked for your visit.
Alan.

Hi thanks for that. I just spoke to them and they bill you from the date you apply, which I said was a bit off considering you cant actually use their services until you are assessed and all the paperwork has gone through which was about 10 - 12 weeks later, but that was that. Still staying with them as they have been pretty good for what I need them for. At least I can spread it over 6 payments and not all at once.
