Hi Guys!I have question, why is the E.L.C.B connected outside the resistance area of any parallel path to the earth?

And also I would need the full wiring diagram of the E.L.C.B if anyone has an access to it.Thank you

My advice is Google... run a search for "earth leakage circuit breaker".

It will return a plethora of results including schematics which you should be able to decipher to establish why it doesn't require a connection to earth.

But you need to know whether it's an older voltage operated ELCB (VOELCB) or the more modern current operated ELCB (RCCD or RCBO) because they operate in different ways and consequently have different schematics.
