We installing this panel below on Monday in a petrol station. The swa is coming in the bottom so we need to cut out square and add paxlin plate to gland into as the petrol station is not connected to earth from submain, and on its own TT system..

So anything you think I'd find interesting pls add as I've never had chance before within petrol station .. And all that goes with it....

What is the test skt for ? Ze . What about testing ze of sub main as earth won't be connected .. Anything

Hi I=P/U,

This panel and it's fitting is almost certainly outside the scope of BS7671, and will more than likely have to be compliant with a totally different set of rules and regs, of which I am not privy to.

I assume there is someone working with you that IS experienced on PFS?

The test socket is for Ze and it's earth is connected to the main earth bar on the earth nest side.
When the earth bar link is removed only the Test socket earth is connected to the nest/s.

You should have access to the APEA Blue Book for Petrol Filling installations.

The guy with me has we petrol pump symbol on a card.. I'm just curious. And I know we have to drive in rods all round.. Interesting when you haven't been here before...

Is is paxlin plate just plastic...? The earth is only connected at supply side ....

It is certainly interesting, and way off of the usual beaten track, it would be good to see the outcome.

Yes the paxolin plate is just an insulated gland plate.

There's probably a drawing for it , but any chance you can give me few brief codes net.........

Have a look at the size of the MCB protecting the Test socket and ask someone why it's the size it is.

There is none , isit just 100mA rcd???? This a guess.

Mcb and Rcd are so different mate.............I also know that you know this so time to walk away from this job IMO reading your questions.

Come on enlighten if you have followed my posts last few years ,nearly 5 , you'll know I haven't mentioned panels like this before .
