Discuss ECA Telephone Audit in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Been told today that a person from the ECA is going to ring me up and ask me some general knowledge questions to prove i am worthy of being a QS!

Has anybody else heard/done this?

What on earth are they going to ask?

At my last assessment they said they may adopt a risk assessment approach to their assessment of contractors.
As an IQA that makes sense to me.
So if u haven't had many contravention or advisorys they may do a yearly call with a less frequent direct observation of you.
Maybe they have started

So they are now saying give us £400 a year and we will do absolutely nothing for you apart from phone you up and ask several questions over the phone. Therefore lining their pockets even more forms lot less work?
