Hi Guys. I'm not into EICR inspections on a regular basis so bear with me please. When filling out the schedule of circuits details top left hand box. Location of DB, is that the DB that is actually under test? Next box, Distribution board designation, is that for the next DB if in fact there is one?
So if typical house....Main DB under test house...DB designation .....say to garage? Thanks

Location of DB is precisely where it is to be found in the house... so name the room, cupboard or outbuilding.

If you have 2 DB's in the same location then I would label them so that you have DB1, DB2,

or for designation, you could put DB1-House: DB2-Garage, etc.
