EICR - Somebody is setting the bar low.....

Just been sent this by a customer who was charged £250 for an EICR for a property they are thinking of buying.....The customer didn't understand it and wanted a second opinion.

I was laughing, I said it was basically invalid as it was incomplete so there was no real way of knowing if the install was unsatisfactory as the 'report' states.

Please could somebody blank the names for me as I don't know how to do that. Mind you it's a public document now it's been paid for and released to the customer so I guess it is up to the customer what they do with it?

Lazlo, leave it up as it is. It shows the clients name and the "engineers" (lol) name. I have not got a clue how to edit another persons PDF file. Not going to delete the pdf because this thread would be useless without it. Let it ride.

I think a C&G 2394 and 2395 should be mandatory for anyone carrying out EICRs.

I'm going to say it ... even a Electrical Trainee id expect better from. Like tel said, its actually the worst I've ever seen - thats why i presumed someone may be just having a laugh. I hope you've told the company to contact him so they can sack him. Its so bad its actually funny...not funny for the client obviously.

Not sure as it was 'managed' by some bigger service company with a call centre, I don't want to mention their name as it might get me banned or something....But I can post a bit from their website which is quite funny....
