Just done an EICR on DB03 (I've got 3 DB's) on my own property today. All was ok, no codes, only thing I did notice is I must be getting over weight as I was getting out of breath up and down stairs, back and forth to the DB. I think I'll do another DB next week lol

you definitely have a problem there, generally caused by a lack of good beer. remedy is a couple of bottles of newcastle brown, followed by theakston's old peculier.

Function test on one of the showers all done, all dry now and chilling out, paperwork in the morning, if I can find that smoke packet I wrote everything down on as I misplaced my smart phone lol

smart phones go wrong. smoke packets don't, judging by the old woodbine packets left by the plumbers under the floor in 1935.

It wasn't just plumbers a few sparks have left some rubbish under the boards over the years, mind you it was probably only plumbers who could afford woodbines, we were all on roll ups, you had to abbreviate everything to get it all on a rizla packet lol

I performed a function test of sorts on a shower the other day, rushing around doing an EICR I removed the shower cover to get a loop, put me probes onto the terminals - no lights, pulled shower pull switch got me and tester completely soaked, bl**dy mira sport showers, if you disconnect the ribbon they default to being on!

Difficult using smoke packets these days, all the room you could write on is taken up by pictures of tumours! lol
