Do you mean old as in really old, or just old as in 2nd hand but cheap and fairly recent?

I love proper old electrical books.

I used to collect old on-site guides and old regs books which made for interesting reading. Could often pick them up on Ebay for a couple of quid.

I like the older stuff, these are some of mine. The Sprague one is the oldest and my favourite.

That’s the sort I’m after. I was speaking to an old boy and I was asking him about books etc. He was showing me some tray work that was done, not to his standard and said that in a lot of old electrical books it gave you the practical skills an md taught you how to do the work properly.

They sometimes come up on ebay. Mine have been bought mainly from 2nd hand book shops. I find them very interesting, though a lot of the stuff is obviously very out of date now.

I’ve seen a few on eBay. Do any of the ones you have show practical examples?

Of tray work specifically? Must admit I'm not sure. I'll have a quick flick through when I get chance.
