Electrician Apprenticeship

I've recently left the Army and I'm looking to become an electrician. I've gone through JLT but I'm struggling to find an employer. Can anyone help?

There are loads of great firms in Maidstone, who have you applied to so far?
There is a good thread on here regarding C.V and covering letters so give that a read.
Also contact some smaller firms to see if you can gain experience as this will give you a leg up when applying for an apprentiship.
Can you drive and have any of your own tools?

Thank you, I will take a look. I'm currently going through my driving now, and no I don't have any tools as of yet but when things fall into place I will get them.

asi'm now semi-retired i will have a few hand tools available for sale at sensible cost. give me a few days and i'll post what i have to dispose of.

Very sought after firm, good variety of work and good bunch of blokes perfect for an apprentice as you get to work in lots of different areas.

Also try Gilbert & Stamper, An-elec, Loxton.

To OP if you pm me your C.V il have a word around to see if any one man bands need someone even if it’s just to get some experience things like that go along way with a bigger company shows your willing and eager.
