Email notifications, happy Easter everyone

How do I turn off email notifications as it fills my inbox with pointless stuff

Go into your account and switch it off in browser preferences.

But it only works from threads from the time you do this ..

So you'll still get email notifications from earlier threads.

I had noticed that, bloody silly sending a email for every notification.

Alert preferences can be set to not generate an email or not automatically watch threads.
If you go to watched threads select all and then manage watched threads disable email notification or stop watching threads but it is slow.
