Thinking about going out alone to do domestic/small commercial work. Wondering how busy it was at the moment.

Depends on where you are, in south west near Weston-super-Mare things are ticking over, but now massively busy. Parish and local magazines can be useful for advertising, and Yellow Pages will give a you a listing for free.

Cheers mate, I'm in Scotland and there doesn't seem to be many sparks out on their own that are advertising. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
