Hiya

About to do some extension and refurb work on the house and looking to fit a smart home system. Builder's sparks will do the mains wiring bits but the other stuff I'll be doing myself as I'm reasonably handy but also a bit OCD which drives tradesmen nuts (sorry!!).

Anyhow, seems like a good forum, please be nice when I ask the inevitable "dumb" questions.......

Thanks for the kind words guys, have always found "specialist" forums very useful and this looks the same......
@Spoon - I'm using Loxone stuff and to start with will be using it for lighting, heating and security. Later I'll probably add music and home cinema stuff too. (ps - nice to see another Fawlty Towers fan)
