    Hiya

About to do some extension and refurb work on the house and looking to fit a smart home system. Builder's sparks will do the mains wiring bits but the other stuff I'll be doing myself as I'm reasonably handy but also a bit OCD which drives tradesmen nuts (sorry!!).

Anyhow, seems like a good forum, please be nice when I ask the inevitable "dumb" questions.......

    Welcome to the forum mate.
Out of interest, how much of the house are you making 'smart'?
What 'smart' equipment are you using?

Thanks for the kind words guys, have always found "specialist" forums very useful and this looks the same......
@Spoon@Spoon - I'm using Loxone stuff and to start with will be using it for lighting, heating and security. Later I'll probably add music and home cinema stuff too. (ps - nice to see another Fawlty Towers fan)
    Cheers
