Just

Good evening, I am about to purchase a new SDS drill but today I was fitting an extractor and could have really done with a core drill. A few questions if I may.. Do you think this is man enough as it would be nice to have an allrounder instead of a dedicated core drill? Can anyone better this deal by price or a better drill?

If I need a core saw once a month, can someone recommend a fair quality nicely priced core saw that'll do the job and not break the bank? Should I go for a 110mm for a fan cutout or 105mm if available?

Thanks for the advice.

You need a machine with a clutch if you are to avoid breaking bits of yourself. If a large core bit jams it can break your wrist or throw you across the room or off the ladder

I use one of these for diamond cores

And have a large rotary demolition hammer for TCT cores

With regard to size 110mm or 117mm are the best size

For your needs it may be cheaper to hire
