Hi all,

customer want a fan in the bathroom of her house

trouble is its a listed building so we cant go though the wall or penetrate the slate roof.

any ideas in this situation, she did ask if she could duct it to the bedroom but i advised against this.

cheers

No point whatsoever ducting it to anywhere inside the house. It would just move the damp around.

For bathrooms, I normally try to duct upwards into the loft space, with an inline fan, then down through the space between the underside of roof and top of wall, ie where the soffit is fitted (or would be fitted).

havent looked at the house yet, been there some years ago, im asuming think of the age of the house i suspect there isnt a soffit or not much of one to get a 4 inch vent on, but i am guessing so will have a look

Cheers for the reply's
