fire alarm

Just wondering how you guys are getting around installing fire alarm systems.
We used to Cable & connect,with the older systems,analogue,now it's all addressable we can't strip out or reconnect new detectors without calling a specialist.
They come along,charge what they want,after you've done all the hard work.
Had one Guy ask why I installed 3 core instead of 2 core,he wanted it replaced,I told him try & do it then,cause I ain't.

Stipulate in your quote that its the responsibility of the person ordering the work to get their fire alarm service/maintenance provider into to complete the necessary at their cost.

Yea,they are a pain,most don't turn up when needed,& we then have to install the cable for them,& they still complain,wish I were on their money.
