Anybody had any problems using a Schuco fixing brackets with curved clay tiles?

Also, does it matter whether you use the pos or neg for the long cable back to the isolator?

Hi Si64. Welcome along.

Never had any problem using Schuco brackets as long as they are the right ones for that tile. Did you have a sample pack to choose from or not?

Long cable back to isolator? Should both be same length. You will need to come to centre of array and then take + to one side and - to other. Keeps both legs roughly same length. As it's DC current you are dealing with there are different losses + to - as it's not alternating. If it can't be avoided the - should be bigger then the +. SMA Rep had some information on this and it's not well documented in the UK but in Germany they have had several inverters fail and it turns out it was due to an unbalance in the DC cabling. I will try and find the literature he gave me and post it up (if I can find it!)
