Do cookers need to be connected with heat resistant flex and if so can you tell me where the reg is. Have been arguing with a collegue about this. Thanks
 
No cookers do not need to be connected with heat resistant flex unless

1. Manufacturers instructions 134.1.1
2. If you consider you need to apply reg 522.2.2 regarding temperature

In the case of a cooker you don't necessarily need to use flex

1. 521.9.2
 
but if the cable runs inside the oven, use H/R flex. :willy_nilly:
