Please could anyone give me opinions on these meters? And if 1652 & 1653 meters will carry out all tests to 17th edition or do I need to go for the 1652b & 1653b ? ? As seen several off the 1652/3 on ebay. Thanks Darren

Mine was a brand new, but not certified 1651 on ebay, got it certified and well chuffed with it.

Guess the 1651 is old hat now but still going strong!

Does all the tests you need.

I picked a FLUKE 1652 from ebay (calibration expires in April 2010) and used it on the course and assessment. It did all the testing required of the course.

Cheers!

Bought 1652 off e-bay for £200 then had a cal for £65............well chuffed. Used it on my 2391 without any probs....does all the tests required of the 17th. From memory the 1653 also does earth rod testing and 3 phase rotation

I bought myself a fluke 1651, its my 1st all-tester meter, i think its great for what I need it for, simple to use aswell. I'm using it at the mo to pass my C&G 2330.
