Discuss Fluke 1654B in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I know someone who has one, I'll be working with them next week so I'll see if I can have a play and see what it's like.

But if it is anything like the original 1653(I think that was it) I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. We had one when they were first released and it was not up to the usual standard of fluke kit.
 
I have one and I like it, but there are a lot of function buttons and a bit of reading and getting used to it. Like everything, unless it is pure ****, it just takes practice.
