One of my colleagues has just given me his old fluke 6500 (looks like decent bit of equipment )
can anyone advise on software as all the ones I see online don't work with iOS and don't work with windows 10 can anyone give guidance.
cheers

Windows 10 is usually pretty good at running software made for older versions of Windows. It has a comparability mode that you can run apps in, I think it prompts you if it has trouble opening the app up. It could be worth trying the software you have found.

We have Fluke PowerPAT v5.0.11 (2004 edition) running on Windows 7 64-bit. The software sometimes unexpectedly closes, but never loses any data, so is functional. The 21 year old Robin PowerPAT 5000 we use it with is still going strong and never hiccups!

I have heard of people running legacy applications in separately partioned areas on newer machines, however IMO unless you're an IT geek, this seems over complicated, when you can pick up an old Windows 2000 or XP laptop for next to nothing and just use that for your PAT downloads (for example)
